The 2.0 TFSI EA113 engine has a weak point in the form of balancer shafts, which can go prematurely and cause the destruction of the entire engine. This kit thus removes these shafts and at the same time removes unnecessary rotating masses in the engine.
Installation requires modification of the oil pump in the form of cutting the shaft that leads from the gear to the balancer shafts.
