HPFP High Pressure Fuel Pump Tappet and Cam Rebuild Kit

This kit contains all the parts needed to convert the sliding cam high pressure fuel pump to a roller lifter as well as the newer EA888 TSI engines. It is common for the 2.0 TFSI EA113 engine to have excessive wear on the cam tappet that contacts the cam.

Excessive damage to the engine and intake camshaft can occur if the cam lifter wears out. This rebuild protects against this problem and ensures the reliability and smooth operation of your high pressure fuel pump without having to replace the cam lifter again.

In addition, the flow capacity of the fuel pump is improved by increasing the effective lift by 28% (or 18.5% for CDL engines).

Note:  Installation of this kit requires machining the high pressure fuel pump housing to match the tappet extension. Additionally, it is necessary to remove the HPFP cam from the shaft that drives the pump and press in a new cam in the same orientation.
