Forged connecting rods from ZRP are characterized by perfect quality and precision. Connecting rods go through additional machining processes. Lateral ribbing minimizes twisting of the connecting rod and also reduces its weight. The housings have a radial groove and are made of aluminum, bronze and silicon alloys. The connecting sleeves guarantee perfect accuracy during assembly and reuse. Grooving in the support points provides weight reduction. Connecting rods go through several technical steps. Shot peening guarantees a longer service life. Magnaflux guarantees the control of the consistency of the forged material, which must meet a high standard. The multi-stage heating process guarantees high strength, dimensional stability and eliminates material fatigue. Machining on CNC machines guarantees excellent tolerance and accuracy of 0.0003". Optimal balance of the whole set (+/- 1g). Axial distance accuracy with a tolerance of 001". Finite Element Analysis (FEA) computer analysis reveals possible stresses. ARP 2000 screws are resistant to a clamping force of up to 220,000 psi, ARP L-19 then up to a force of 260,000/270,000 psi. Combined tests showed connecting rod durability over 700PS+ using ARP 2000 bolts, with L-19 bolts over 800PS+ on the 4 cylinder engine and 1000PS+ on the 6 cylinder engine.

Compared to H-Beam connecting rods, they have bushings made of AMPCO 18 material, which guarantees excellent wear resistance. They are characterized by greater tensile strength, designed for high performance, extreme durability and exceptional stiffness.
